This space  is for you  to reinforce English communicative skills like  reading ,gain confidence, and start your process as autonomous learners. In addition, you can make  use and explore different tools and resources for enriching your learning and technological skills.

 

We know that you

 

• Study either in IED Veintiún Ángeles ,IED Liceo Nacional Antonia Santos  in Bogotá or  I.E. Gilberto Alzate Avendaño from Medellín .

• Have been learning English, either  taking two or three hour lessons per week.

• Need to improve your English level for your studies and future.

• Learn in different ways : we have observed that most of you rely on images and that music has helped you to learn.

• Like working in groups or individually, helping each other and learning through games, role play activities or learning songs.

• Enjoy using technology and are familiar with the Internet; blogs chats, social media etc., but need to learn how to use them for language and learning purposes.

 

This VLRC will provide you with interactive resources to learn, practice, self-asses and different strategies to help you improve reading comprehension skills.

 

We hope this allows you to work collaboratively with others while increasing diverse English competences.

 

We also expect you to help others in any case they don’t know how to use this site.

 

Take advantage of all this and the equipment available in your houses and the school (computers , tablets, internet,etc.).
