Welcome to our Collaborative Project !
Living in our society will require that each of us become increasingly aware of the constant cultural changes it has.
Working collaboratively means:

To explore with your team all together.
-
To support and rely on each other.
-
To achieve a common goal.
-
To share your own opinions with others
-
To rely on others.
-
It increases confidence and constant interaction.
In this reading adventure you are not going to be alone, you are part of a group which will help you in every moment. And you also will have the opportunity to interact with teachers and peers to understand better and solve difficulties. Working collaboratively encourages, exploring together and brainstorming together to provide a common product.
You will also be engage in different collaborative activities such as:

Doing collaborative mind maps for brainstorming vocabulary.

Creating posters based on your understanding.
-
Participating in forums to interact with your peers and increase your responsibility.
-
Testing quizzes.
-
Creating a pimpampum album.
-
Using Communication tools like E-mail, instant messaging, whatsapp, and discussion forum in the VLRC to have contact with your peers.
As participants of this VLRC you are expected to perform this roles:

Participate and express your opinions in each activity to share your beliefs and views about each of the themes proposed.

Respect the differences among each other in the group..

Work collaboratively, synchronously or asynchronously to gain a better understanding of your community and its members.

Use the guidance provided in class and in the VLRC during the learning process.

Give each other meaningful feedback and support on the work.

Share information and other resources found to support every member in the assigned group.

Provide the tutor with opinions and suggestions on how to improve the VLRC.
Since you are not going to be alone therefore, your teachers will help you through different ways, such as:

Providing you with a structure which helps you to extract and construct meaning.

Assisting you in defining and collecting new words to understand the texts.
-
Checking your answers to ensure you are correct.

Keeping in touch with you.
-
Shorting texts or alter them to challenge you.
-
Try some new ideas that enable you to build on prior knowledge and internalize new vocabulary.

Motivating your reading interests to help you on achieving a goal and reduce frustration on the learners.

Giving you some tutorials, online games and articles to enhance your reading skills.
